ECOLITEEcolite is a naturally occurring mineral possessing unique properties beneficial to the soil and vegetation. These properties enable it to retain and slowly release water and nutrients in the root zone. Ecolite has been shown to be an excellent amendment especially for difficult conditions such as sandy soils, hard water and high traffic areas. Ecolite pocesses the ideal mix of traits for turfgrass. 80-85% pure, it is high in Potassium, low in Sodium, contains clay in only minute amounts, and is hard enough to maintain it's particle size in the root zone. ApplicationEcolite is most effective when it is injected into the root zone using the SGITM Granular Injection System, which is offered by ALW Natural solutions. Plug and fill is another alternative but the concentration in distribution leaves much to be desired. The SGITM System has little or no effect on the playing surface. |
