The SGI Subsurface Granular Injection system employs a specialized
technology* of injecting granular products simultaneously with water/liquid into the soil
without surface disruption or environmental hazard. This technology is ideally suited for
golf courses, sports turf, municipalities and residential/commercial landscaping
applications.
The granular products are injected into the turf with a
pulse of high pressure liquid to depths from 1/2 to 8 inches. Any granular product can be
injected simultaneously with water and other liquid or flowable turf products such as
fungicides, wetting agents, bio-stimulants and fertilizers directly to the root system for
total turf health care and maintenance. The system also allows for injection of polymers
and other water-retention products directly into the soil to increase watering efficiency
and aid in water conservation.
The benefits of injecting granular and liquid turf products and polymers
to a precise depth include:
 | Immediate Decline and Control of Insects such as Mole Crickets, Grubs and
Nematodes. |
 | Immediate and Increased Efficacy of all products as they are placed
directly at the turf root system. |
 | Easy Application of Polymers and Water Retention Products. |
 | Chemical Exposure to personnel, the public and wildlife is significantly
reduced. |
 | No Chemical Run-off. |
 | Watering-in is not required resulting in water conservation. |
 | Elimination of Turf Burn and UV Degradation of all
products. |
 | Reduction in the Amount of Chemical Required for most
applications. |
 | Aeration and De-compaction of the Soil during each
application. |
 | The Safest Application System Available for granular products
with water, liquids and flowables. |
